Be a Classroom Liaison

Being a Room Parent is a fun and rewarding way to volunteer at Murch and be involved in your child's education. As a Room Parent, you support your children, their classmates, and their teachers by helping to:

• Support your child's teacher
• Communicate with class parents & enlist parent volunteers for special activities
• Coordinate your classroom-sponsored booth at the Fall Fair
• Organize the parent Pot Luck
• Prepare class gifts for the auction and teachers

Don't worry, you won't be alone! Most classes have several room parents who share responsibilities, so the commitment is not too great. We aim for about four room parents per class. Many tasks can be coordinated via email or after school hours.
